After months and months of waiting, Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Mobile will be launching on October 1, 2019.
Well, folks, we are finally here. If you're like me and you've been waiting months to get your hands on Call of Duty: Mobile then you can rest easy knowing that you won't have to wait too much longer. Today, Activision announced that the first-person shooter is making its way to mobile platforms on October 1, 2019.
For those that don't know, Call of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play mobile game that encompasses characters, weapons, modes, and maps from multiple Call of Duty console games, including the Black Ops franchise and the Modern Warfare franchise.
According to Activision's latest press release, the game will include Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-For-All at launch, as well as Hijacked, Nuketown, and Crash, alongside others. In addition, the game's battle royale mode will be available at launch as well, which the public has seen very little gameplay from (the press, including DualShockers, got a chance to see the battle royale mode at E3 2019).
If players want to, they can pre-register for the game right now on the Call of Duty website. The game has been available in beta in certain countries for a few months now, but it was only by invite, so this is going to be the first time that the public will be able to get their hands on the game.
Call of Duty: Mobile will be available on both iOS and Android devices when it launches. Activision has already confirmed that they'll be supporting the game post-launch with new content.
